As I carry on with my daily life, work, kid, school, church, house, and so on I find myself becoming complacent. I'm sure no one else has ever experienced this, just me, right? I try to stay in constant contact with my Creator, but sometimes like any long term relationship, someone starts to neglect the other. I then start to rationalize, well I am at church what feels like a lot. That has to count for something, right? Here's the thing, He never neglects me, so how could I possibly neglect Him? He is there for me everytime I need Him, not just when I fit into His schedule. How amazing is that, He always has time for me as He takes time for everyone. I love that about Him. This is where I think prayer and study is so important. Gods' language is prayer and His gift is the Word.
